Canada is the world's largest oat exporter, with the United States, Russia, and Finland also significant producers. Prices are influenced by planted acreage, crop weather in North America and Northern Europe, competition from other feed grains, and shifts in consumer food trends. The contract is quoted in U.S. cents per bushel on the CME Group's CBOT exchange.
