Qué mueve este mercado

The Five-Year U.S. Treasury Note futures contract covers intermediate-term U.S. government debt and occupies the middle of the yield curve between the rate-sensitive 2-year note and the longer-duration 10-year note. It is sensitive to Federal Reserve policy expectations as well as medium-term inflation and economic growth outlooks. The contract is a widely used hedging and speculative instrument for those with exposure to intermediate interest rate risk. Prices are quoted as a percentage of the note's par value.
